Data types:

1) Text Text or combination of text and numbers
Up to 255 characters of character data
   
2) Memo Lengthy text (i.e. for notes), up to 64K of character data
   
3) Number Numeric information (i.e. quantity)
   
4) Date/Time Dates and times
   
5) Currency Monetary values
   
6) Auto Number Sequential numbering assigned by Access to each record
   
7) Yes/No Boolean value (Yes/No, On/Off, True/False)
   
8) OLE object Object Linking and Embedding, linking of files stored in other programs (objects, graphics, or other binary data).
Capacity is up to 1GB.
   
9) Hyperlink Text or numbers stored as hyperlink addresses (web addresses, URL's - Uniform Resource Locator)
   
10) Lookup wizard Invokes a wizard that links the current table to another one based on certain criterias
